Hello people. I have a Sony Xperia z3 compact d5803 and a little while ago I tried to root it but failed. So I flashed the original firmware back into my phone and relocked the BL. I've been using my phone pretty well enough not many problems until I've found out that after any reboot the YouTube app doesn't open any videos by giving the error "There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry. " and when I tried to record videos with either my phone's camera app or with another camera app it said "Unfortunately camera has stopped. ". And I've noticed something weird, when I wipe the cache partition by holding down the power and volume up button and then powered on the device, YouTube app and video recording works just fine. I need any help that I can get please dear friends.

Hi and welcome to Android Central.

It sounds like something has gone wrong. I would start off with uninstalling youtube. You may also need to reset the phone and start from scratch again.

Goodluck

Thanks for the advice mate but I've tried it. I've tried disabling both apps and I've tried uninstalling the updates of the apps. Either way the apps are not working. I even tried factory reset! Even after that nothing has changed. I wonder if there's any way that I can return the phone to the stable state as I bought it. I am afraid I might have lost my drm keys and I've read that losing the drm keys causes cease in function of camera. Well people the problem persists.
