Youtube app stuck in loop

So im trying to watch a movie on netflix and when i play the movie it just sticks on the red loading screen and doesnt do anything. This is not the first time it happened. Ive rebooted the device reinstalled the app and nothing. I cant find a single post online about this and i know im not the only one with this issue. Can anyone help?

what do you mean when you said your reinstalled. what i mean is youtube is a stem app and cannot be removed without root.

try data/cache clear. this trick work for most of the app issues.

Sorry I meant uninstall updates then reinstalled. I did try the clear data/cache but that never works. Today youtube app is working fine but of course I don't want to watch any movies, it only happens when I want to use it.
