YouTube Dark Mode for Note 8

I read that the dark mode for YouTube started rolling out to Android finally. This will be nice once I get it on my Note 8, because I have some screen burn in due to me having YouTube open majority of the time while I'm driving.

I was wondering if any of you with a Note8 have the dark mode option yet?

Man, I can't wait until they enable dark mode. It's about damn time too. It's been on the iOS version for a long time now. I got a YouTube update 2 days ago but no dark mode yet.

Yep, I am also waiting for this, as I watch a lot of YouTube content. I have enabled it on my iPad Air 2 and it looks great but it would look far better on the Note8 Display.

The dark theme is finally out. Had to go into settings then general and enable dark theme.

I went thru every menu in settings and there is no dark theme yet for me. My YouTube app was updated yesterday.

I think I read somewhere you could clear cache in app I believe and it may force it to push the option in settings.

Try settings - apps - YouTube - force stop - open it again and see if the dark theme is available.

Vanced YouTube app i think is quite better than original YouTube app. You can turn off the screen and lock your phone and keep earing the video audio as used to be woth the old original YouTube app long time ago.

I think you guys that like dark themes should look into Substratum and either Swift Dark or Swift Black. I've been using Swift Black for months and the black YouTube is awesome along with all the other apps in Black.

Where can I find Swift Black? None of these tips are giving me the YouTube dark mode. I'd like dark mode on the whole phone if there was a way.
