YouTube is not working properly

[AC Question]

Ok, YouTube which was already preinstalled on my Galaxy S5 has been acting up for about a week now. I tried to uninstall, but could only disable. I am inable to uninstall so I can reinstall it on my phone.

I have already cleared my cashe and that did not solve the problem either. I am able to Google a YouTube video and watch it, but not if it takes me directly to the YouTube on my phone. If that makes sense.

How can I fix this problem?

Why you do not reset your phone if you have already backup your apps and files ?

Welcome to Android Central! It would help to know exactly what kind of problem you're having with YouTube. Is it crashing? Freezing? Audio unsyncing with video?

Did you clear cache/data from YouTube in the App Manager, or are you talking about clearing the system cache partition?
