I keep having audio issues with YouTube...like there is no audio. I then play a video I recorded and the audio works fine, then I go back to YouTube and it works fine. Has anyone else seen this?

I have seen that too and I try adjusting the sound on the volume rocker with no difference. Restarted the phone and the problem was gone

Yeah, a factory reset fixed everything for me. I was having the same issues, and after the reset, it's all good. Haven't had a problem since.

If I use the youtube app for watching it works fine, but lets say I'm on a forum with a youtube embedded and try to play it, it gives me a blank screen. Reset doesn't do anything.

I have been experiencing this as well anyone else?

The only audio problems I have been having is when you use your headphones it does not realize that the headphones are unplugged so I have to plug in the headphones again to turn on my speaker in my phone.

My issue with YouTube is that it seems to work whenever it wants to. I have a solid data connection and everything else works, but I get the infinite buffer circle with YouTube 50% of the time. I cleared cache/data and re-installed updates, still no dice.

Anyone else having this issue and how did you fix it?

I don't think the sound issue is specific to YouTube. I've found that sometimes, usually after waking the phone from sleep, all sound will be cut out. I've specifically noticed that I won't hear any notifications, and there won't be any dialpad tones (although haptic feedback works). If I go to Settings->Sounds, and play around with ringtones or notification tones (i.e., selecting different ones to hear how they sound), the sound will come back. A little annoying--I filed this bug on the Google Android reporting site.

I had that exact same problem today. Couldn't play any music, missed 2 phone calls. Checked all settings and volumes, everything was fine. I powered down and back on and it's worked fine since.

When that happens, instead of rebooting, try going to the Ringtones menu like I mentioned, and just select one or two. The sound might pop back on when you do that.

!! May sound crazy but after my media sound stopped working one day I held the power+volume to soft reset. It took a screen shot instead but after the screen shot the sound starting working! I thought it was a fluke but I tried it again today and it worked!! Sound restored without power down or reset.

This has been happening on both my Maxx and my wife's Razr. I have done a factory reset since ICS, but she has not. Even music on the SD card will not play sometimes, but playing with a ringtone appears to fix it.

I thought i best the bug by doing a fr no such luck I'll try the screen shot next time and see what happens.
