I updated my youtube and now on all my videos I keep get a black opaque screen with the allcast share icon in the middle when I go into full screen.

If you have the bt on that's what's causing it. Shut the bt off and it will go away. Very annoying

My BT was off, so I don't think that's the issue

Had you recently turned on your bt , I had to back out of the app after I turned off my bt , then when I opened it up again the icon was gone and the screen was bright. Thinking of uninstalling the updates to get rid of it there's no way to do that in the settings of the app.

That could also be the chromecast icon instead of the Allcast Icon. Maybe youtube updated something for chromecast.

My netflix works fine but can't play a single youtube clip. The title of the video is on the tv but on my phone it says its taking an unusually long time to play and then it times out. Help please!!!

Found a fix for the dim screen and cast icon in the YouTube app. Go to the android drawer, I just followed a forum link but you can probably Google it. Then download the previous version
