YouTube Issue

I thought it may have been my eyes but I noticed today that youtube videos are not running that smoothly on my N5. There is no buffering but it seems like the video is moving a tad bit slow and choppy. Anyone else having this issue?

According to my experience, this occurrence is actually quite common and is usually caused by a slightly unstable data or WiFi connection.

I think what you mean is that there frames dropping. I noticed this too on my Nexus 5. This has nothing to do with low signal(data or wifi) I test the same video on two different routers netgear and a Asus rt-n66u. Both had great signal, but I kept seeing frame drop.

If this is a hardware issue, then we are screwed.

It could be an app issue. Does the same thing happen with other videos? What happens when you go to the YouTube website and play a video?

Unfortunately, it is happening with other videos as well and live wallpapers. I did try youtube through the browser, though, and it seemed better.

I saw this happen with the S4 once. Try downloading another video player like MX and try the videos then. As far as the live wallpapers, I don't know. I have found that the Qualcomm processors have had issues with videos. Samsung's Exynos processor on the Note 2 didn't have this issue.
