Yea there is something wrong with that phone. When you got it, it was always like that or it just started recently.

Always. My battery is horrible also. The plan is to order another one and send this one back...... But they are out of stock

Yea definitely return that. Im surprised you kept it so long, i would have returned it the second day.

I had 2 S21 Ultras and one of them did it constantly and I couldn't figure it out ended up selling it. But the one I have now doesn't do it so I don't know what's really going on

I had this issue after the software update. Resetting my phone seemed to fix the issue. Not a factory reset or anything; I just restarted it and YouTube PIP mode now works just fine.

This is the exact thing I'm experiencing currently. I'm not having the other stuff going on, but the overlay with YouTube, i am.
It's back for me. I didn't do anything different. I haven't added any new apps. It started today. Youtube and Google maps are acting up. I cut my phone on and off and it stopped but it started back.

Also I notice that the battery is draining incredibly fast and apps are taking a while to open.

I was having this when I first got the phone but restarting it would take care of the issue. For me if I touched or tried to move it the PIP just slid off the side of the screen but continued playing. Once restarted it would allow me to move it around. It still occasionally slips off the side of the screen but the original issue of even touching it caused it to slide off the screen has stopped. Can't tell you what changed.

If it is still happening I haven't seen anyone mention trying to uninstall it or the updates for the YouTube app. I never had issues with GMaps so if it works for YT try it for GM. You may not be able to fully uninstall the app but you should be able to uninstall the updates. You may just check to see if you are running the most up to date version. I've noticed with this phone that it almost never auto updates. Like any apps. Every time I go into the Play Store I have a mile long list of available updates. Even as I type I have a YT update ready along with 3 others but I'm set to auto update everything???

So first be sure you're up to date. If so uninstall the updates and install them again otherwise just try updating the app and restarting the app.
