YouTube TV - Choppy Live TV

I'm currently trialing YouTube TV, and the live TV quality is great on my tablet and phone (720p / 60fps), however the playback is "choppy", which is especially noticeable while watching sports like basketball where the camera is always moving. Roughly every 10s, the picture freezes for a slight instant, then jumps forward to catch up. I've got Spectrum 100mbps Wi-Fi, so I don't think it's a network speed problem. I recently did a factory reset on my Galaxy Tab S, so it's happening on a clean install. My phone is a Galaxy S8, and the problem happens on that device as well.

Is anyone else experiencing this with the YouTube TV app (not regular YouTube).
