OK, is whenever I'm watching YouTube. Is there a way to force the highest resolution?I keep in having to manually change it no matter where I am and I generally have good 4g LTE signal.

Are you on T-Mobile? If so, turn off Binge-On and see if that helps.

Does this happen when you're on wi-fi as well?

i'm on verizon, and have the old unlimited date plans.its a bit annoying, thats why. thank you.

Ok. And does this happen on wi-fi as well, or only mobile data?

never have tried it on Wi FI honesty. i suppose i can try it next time on i'm on wifi though.

Having strong or good signal is no indication of your throughput of the system. If your on a congested tower or during peak times you will get full signal but may have crappy speeds.
I have yet to find a way for my youtube app to keep the higher resolution settings. Seems to change on its own. Rather annoying.

Yes I agree with you very annoying. Every single video I watch I have to manually change it.
