Hi all. :)

I prefer not to have the youtube app automatically open everytime I play a YouTube video and instead use the Samsung Internet Browser.

When playing a youtube video in Samsung Internet I cannot see any options for changing the video quality either on the mobile or desktop version of the website.

Am I missing something obvious?

Many thanks in advance. :)

I get the usual settings menu in the desktop version, but nothing on mobile unless I'm also missing something.

Hi @L0n3N1nja :)

Thanks for your post.

I have now figured it out. When I've been selecting 'Request desktop site' from the options menu (3 dots) in the Samsung Internet app itself it's not actually given me the full desktop version. I hadn't noticed until now when I saw the 'm' at the beginning of the url (m.youtube).

I found that the youtube page itself has an option to change it from mobile to desktop under another 3 dotted menu (in addition to the Samsung Internet one). When I clicked on 'DESKTOP' under the 3 dotted youtube menu I finally got the full desktop version of the site and hey presto... the quality setting was there!

Sorry about that, I kind of wasted your time. :(

I was missing something obvious after all. :D

Thanks again. :)
