Anyone know if there is a way to download YouTube vids to your device to watch later? iPhone has a playtube app that does it, and I've seen online that android in India allows it right in the app but I can't see the download button in mine. Would be handy to be able to watch vids when you are off wifi the same way Netflix does. Thanks!

The YouTube app offers this functionality directly, though it may require a subscription to YouTube Red. There are no other apps or services that are allowed to offer that functionality.

The only way to do it in a way that doesn't violate YouTube's terms of agreement is to subscribe to YouTube Red. 3rd party apps that download YouTube videos violate those terms, which is why you can't find them on the Play Store. If you install one of those apps from a 3rd party source, be careful, because you're at higher risk for malware.
