Z Fold 7 Cases

I've been very happy with the Thinborne case with the for not moving around and so thin I feel like the phone is naked. Power button feel is better now with it on and my muscle memory.
Which Thinborne case are you using again? I might order one.

PS. Damn these cases are all so expensive!

The only part with Pikata is the power button and the camera hump. The Thinborne doesn't interfere with power banks (they work, just have to be crooked) an they way it is set up allows for better use of the power button.

Pitaka came in today. They even threw in a 30w charger with fiber sides. I like the Pitaka for a simple rear cover. The fit perfect and the lines are clean.

Shoooot. I would actually pull the trigger if I could get it for $62.

Yeah, the camera ring probably and basically the placement of the mag ring is disappointing. I lay the blame on Samsung more than Pitaka that they couldn't place the ring just a tad lower allow more options like attaching a wallet.

The power button for me is not any worse than without the case. For me even without the case i didn't feel super comfortable with it because while adjusting to get my finger in position to press I feel I have to take care to adjust my whole grip of the phone because the hinge still makes for a slippery phone.

Face unlock is the way to go with the ZF7 and faster without the need for me to adjust phone in hand to get my finger in right position.

If staying ultra thin wasn't the objective, I would probably go with a Spigen case and call it a day and get hinge/dust protection. Speaking of hinge, does anyone else get a little wide-eyed when they see even the tiniest spec of a white dot of dust on the gap of the hinge? 😨

What I wouldn't mind is if someone sold grip tape, similar to what they use on Glock grips, laser cut to size to cover the side of the front frame to add a little more grip and to unfold the phone.

Another note... the Spigen tempered glass. I don't know what that nano coating they put on the glass but that is the slipperiest (is that a word) glass I've ever felt. Face down on a uneven surface if cloth or hard smooth surface, my phone starts sliding away lol.

But overall I like the case and will rock with with the Spigen glass and see how it is as a daily.
