Z Fold 7 Cases

I thought not having a front side would be a deal breaker for me however I've been using only the back for a few weeks. The front case, even with tape always seems to move a bit and drives me nuts.

I am definitely enjoying this case. All I have in front is screen protector and it is working great. This case definitely surprises me.

Which one did you get? I got the Mondrian. I love it!

I ended up adding a 3rd party - front carbon fiber cover. So now it looks like a set.

I'm currently using the Thinborne case but since they cheapened the back part with a plastic camera bump I am waiting for the classic color of Latercase. I hate that it doesn't have a magnet but I'll try mounting the Spigen magnet to the back (also available in the same carbon fiber color).

I don't think I'll like the thicker front part of the Latercase so I plan to leave the thin profile front of the Thinborne on and hopefully the color difference won't be too great since both brands of case are in the carbon fiber finish.

Pretty much. It's a 3rd party carbon front I got off of express

I think a lot of covers missed this one....I think it mostly effects video pro mode which allows you to choose the priority of focus of where the sound comes from. I have a feeling the sound still gets through in most cases....no pun intended.

Pictures of the Toast cover. I plan to do a full review but just thought I'd share for now. Magsafe is optional and this one has it without the noticeable ring. The magsafe placement is adjustable to your liking.

My Toasted Pitaka in black Walnut

I may comment more on it later but just tossing photos online not caring if my bottle of hot sauce is in it too

As I thought, the black walnut skin really goes well with the black Pitaka. I'd say the the thickness of the walnut skin is the same as the Pitaka so as you can see all the sides are flush. one not sticking out over the other which i was concerned about.

Gotta take some care in installing. I got the seams as tight as I could but if I could do it over again I think I understand what needs to be done and get them better? I first got the front around the Spigen glass and thought it best to press and get a tight fit around the glass. But better to get it around the glass but save the firm pressing to lock down the pieces until after the sides are on. I took a credit car to press from the glass and use my fingers on the side to tighten the seam best I can. Be very very careful around the cutouts. The cutout around the sim tray is superthin and didnt take much to split it. But pressed it as smooth together as possible and it looks ok.

Impressions besides looking great with the Pitaka. Main one is there is no struggle to open the Fold anymore. the front trim only cost $10 and when I got it, (edit... it DIDN't included the whole kit. Just the front and sides but does include the sides for the back half as well as the around the camera area).

It's a nice skin. It's not a case. It's a skin. A thin veneer but it's nice. I couldnt get every inch of seam perfect and if I had the chance again I think I'd know what to do to get it better but I can live with it and will because it looks good and importantly it's crazy how easy it is to open the Fold now.

It was worth $10 to complement it with my Pitaka and except for the hinge the phone basically has full protection and any slippery feeling is gone now.
