hey guys loving my z2 having a slight issue with the screen. It seems to do what it wants at times like someone is pressing the screen. any ideas ?

i have tried it on and off with no difference, its like you no if you got a phone screen with water on it, that how it would react to it, seems my phone does this without getting wet strange

No. The UI is to my satisfactory. I'm not big on root unless it's carrier branded. Been since the Nexus One I had an unbranded phone.

for me that happens when my fingers are wet and leave streaks of water (sometimes almost impossible to see) on the screen, sweat from my pockets (yes it really is that hot in Tokyo) or sweat/grease from ears after a phonecall, etc.

Sony made the screen REALLY sensitive on this one, even without Glove Mode. When that happens, try wiping the screen and see if it continues.

I've had the exact same issue when using it in the rain

It's definitely water, it happens to all Z2 phones I think. Smidgets of water confuse the screen and makes it go haywire.

Haven't really had it on my phone, but my tablet Z does it all the time. Frankly, the tablet Z sucks. Flickering when the keyboard is up, screen jumping about everywhere: these make the tablet almost unusable. Shame, because it would be brilliant without these problems. I can believe some people may see the phone behaving like this too.

it's not a constant issue with my phone thankfully, but when it does happen very annoying. i just ordered the z2 tablet last night so i hope there are no issues there
