z3 phone shows LTE and not 4g?

Just got a new Xperia z3 and put my Vodafone sim in. Now just noticed it says LTE instead of 4g? Is this the same, can I change it to show 4g or enable 4g?

Slightly worried cause I'm going abroad soon and wondering if it will work when I'm away.

LTE is a type of 4G. LTE is actually faster than 4G, if you enter a zone where there is no LTE signal then it will drop down to the standard 4G. If you want to force it to not use LTE go to Settings -> Under Wireless & Network touch 'More' -> go to Mobile networks -> go to Network Mode -> and select which network type you want to use.
