Yeah its been argued that anything above 300ppi is overkill for a smart phone. Remember that the processor works harder to move more pixels and can actually drain battery and effect performance in certain tasks or games. My Moto x was,, 720p until a broke it lol but my old Note 2 is also the same and it looks sharp to me. On the smaller screen it's even better. I'd rather have a faster running phone that lasts for 2 days.

I agree....trade off for the 2 day battery life is totally worth it.

I was looking at that too but it's a different model so I'm not sure about the bands. The European one is d5803 and that one is d5833. Maybe the Asian one or something?

Good catch codeda. I found this on the GSM Arena site... Looks like the D5833 model carries fewer bands, but contains something called TD-LTE. Any idea what that refers to?

I went and added it to my cart on Handtec to see what the final price was. Came to $490 US shipped. Not bad at all. Personally, I'm gonna wait until Sony's US event on the 9th just in case they announce US availability and it ends up being cheaper. Unlikely, but it could happen.

Plus, my wife really wants the green one, which isn't available from the UK sellers.

TD-LTE is Time devision while FD is Frequency division which is typically listed as LTE.
TD is where up and download link uses the same band while FD is using a pair using different band.
