Anyone figured out how to wipe the cache partition on a Z3V? I tried to hold up Power and Volume Up at the same time with the device on but that's not working.

Then you are doing something wrong. It will only work when the phone is completely turned off.

I am not talking about a factory data reset. That is a different process than wiping the cache partition.

I know that but getting to the menu for wiping the cache partition is the same procedure. Unfortunately after further research I discovered that if you are on Verizon:

Wipe Cache Partition - Sony Xperia Z3V
[Device-Specific Instructions]

This feature is not included on this device.

Sucks

Further investigation revealed instructions on T-Mobile's Support page which indeed indicates starting the procedure with the phone on (I stand corrected)

And this does not work with the Verizon version either...
