Z4root Not Working on Fascinate?

So my sister has the fascinate and she asked me to root it for her. I downloaded Z4 from XDA and installed. Turned on USB DeBug and ran Z4. It then proceeded to sit there for 10mins. doing the Exploit and nothing happened. I used Z4 for my Droid X and it worked perfectly and in less than a minute. Does Z4root no longer work for the fascinate?

Is she running any security apps like Lookout? Those types of apps cause problems for z4

Y4ah she is running lookout but so was I on my X when I used Z4. But when i see her next I will shut off lookout and give it another try. All she wants is AdFree to get rid of the Ads in Angry Birds haha.

My brother-in-law had the same issue when he used z4 on his X. Wouldn't finish. Told him to disable Lookout, and it worked in a matter of seconds

I had the same issue, but disabling Lookout didn't fix it, ended up using Dirrk's method which worked perfectly.

I rooted my fascinate last night with z4..worked like a charm..no issues no f/c so far..
