Zedge Not Working on Note 8

I have a Note 8 and when I search Zedge for "car" for example I only get 1 wallpaper result. This is not the case on my Note 5. Zedge still returns a lot of results for ringtones, notifications, etc. However regardless of what I type in the search, only a handful of wallpaper results appear for my Note 8.

Same here. But it does find notificatiokns and the other categories. Hopefully they update soon-they have some nice wallpapers. So does the Samsung theme store too though

**** edit*** i just found if you install zedge from the galaxy apps instead of the play store it works like it is supposed to.
when i got the note 7 i noticed the search results were all tablet (wide) style pics instead of portrait style. i emailed zedge and they said they have no control because Samsung note 7 (and now note8 i guess) read as a tablet to zedge, so it will automatically show the more square wallpapers instead of the portrait size ones, so we don't get near as many results..
it annoys me that they say they can't fix this, due to whatever it is the phone is identifying itself as..
***new edit*** there is a stupid update that is kicking the zedge back to showing tablet wallpapers for my note8.. grrrrr

I always save my zedge folder and transfer them from phone to phone. I noticed that today that there isn't many selection of pics to choose from. But im cool with my collection I have accumulated over the time.

Yeah, Zedge isn't working properly for me either. There's hardly any WP's that come up in any of the categories.(On Verizon, don't know if that makes a difference)

My Zedge did not want to work either... But I did the smart swtich thing... And I'm sure its got to do with that... It worked but had like 6 wallpapers on it.. Told my hubby I don't think Zedge is compatible with the Note 8...but I think its cause I did the smart switch.. It thought it was still the s7 edge... There was an update and that fixed it for me... I think... Just glad it works again... But while I thought it didn't work... I downloaded an app from playstore wallpapers for note 8...seems like that app and Zedge got the exact same wallpapers

I reinstalled and still coming back with 1 and 2 results on very basic searches: car, cat, tiger.

I've since uninstalled and reinstalled and retested zedge a few times on my n8. Same results. Barely any wallpapers, but the other types have good results. Odd some people have no issues others do. Wonder if it's related to the recent update? I updated my.n8 yesterday
Wonder why you are having issues. I have zero issues with zedge. I set my note up as a fresh install. Always do.
