Zenfone 2 won't start - dead

[AC Question]

Bought a Zenfone 2 weeks ago, at 60% plugged it into charger and phone went dead, no lights, won't restart, no vibration - just dead. Tried charging more, tried holding power button down, tried volume up and power button together, tried connecting to computer...Nothing, simply dead and VERY DISSAPPOINTED

Have you let it charge for a few hours without trying to turn it on? The battery may have been severely depleted.
