ZenPad or Archos 7 questions

The ZenPad, available now, runs Android 1.6

The Archos 7 runs an unknown version of Android, either 1.6 or 2.0, and isn't out yet.

My question is.. how bad are resistive touch screens? And do you think a custom 2.0 ROM would be hard to load onto either of these?

Also.. is TFT LCD resistive? I'm unsure.

Thanks. Trying to find a good Android tablet. =)

EDIT: Looks like the ZenPad product page now says: "Upgrades to Android 2.x will be available within 1 month to our customer on their private section for simple downloading and upgrading. Easy instructions will be provided."

Curious, what are the main differences between 1.6 and 2.0 anyways?

I'm looking at the zenPad myself. As for how bad resistive touch screens are, it depends. Basically, resistive means they can include a stylus and have it work (try using one on the HTC Hero and it won't work).
