ZenPad S 8.0 vs nvidia shield

i had a lenovo yoga 2 10.1 and it recently broke. im looking for a new tablet, within the $200 price mark. i use the tablets to play games and watch videos and web browsing.
with my research so far ive narrowed it down to ZenPad S 8.0 { 2GB RAM/ 32GB SSD }or nvidia shield. i might do a custom rom if it increases performance.
which tablet should i get? are there any more options i should consider ?

Why the $200 limit?
Buy the 4gb/64gb Zenpad S 8.0, it now has the update for Android 6.01.
The MM update makes it a perfect tablet for only $279 on Amazon.
