Zenwatch 2 screen unresponsive. Now what?

Ok, so, today, my seven month old, much beloved Asus Zenwatch 2's screen became unresponsive. Absolutely no screen touches were registering. It still works with the gesture's but, if the gesture sequence requires a screen touch to finalise, you cannot do it.

In short, it just became a $400 bracelet.

Is there something that I can do to trigger a reset or reboot without a screen touch? The only way to restart that I know, requires a screen touch to confirm.

Help me, Obiwan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Press and hold the side button until it turns off should do it. Had to do so once or twice myself.

I had the issue this morning. Even the side button wasn't working. I used the Zenwatch Manager to trigger the lost watch - vibrate. That turned the screen on, then I could then access the restart option from the menu
