Zero failed Fingerprint Scans!

I can't believe it, either.

I did the following things, resulting in zero failures and overall faster authentications as well.

1. Turned ON Touch Sensitivity
2. Removed ALL screen protectors (including the factory-installed one.
3. Re-added all 4 fingerprints.

Not only have I had a 100% success rate since, it's also going faster.

Just thought I would share the tip.

P.S.: Shout out to the misadvertised tempered glass screen protector I purchased, which looked so awkward and didn't work with the FPS at all, that needing to remove it led to this discovery. Everything happens for a reason!

From my experience with my S10+. Removing the built in protector gets the job done nicely. And re adding the fingerprints.

One more benefit:

No more of those "Press harder" prompts. A gentle touch does the job now.

Glad that's working for you. I'm not going to remove my Whitestone Dome, however. The FPS works well enough.

Vastly improved, thanks!! Left the factory-installed screen protector on but followed your advice on turning on the touch sensitivity.
