I scored a 70% off coupon from ZeroLemon for the new LG G6 case in exchange for a review of it. Ordered from Amazon and got it same day. $18 delivered.

I've used ZeroLemon before on a Nexus 4 and it was cheap plastic, broke easily, and ended up in the trash after a week.

However, the material quality on this G6 case is much more durable. The phone slides easily into the case and is ready for charging. The indicator lights on the back light up when you short-press to see how much battery is in the pack. A long-press will turn the case power on and off. This is a great design...on the power on/off side.

The front of the case barely hugs the edge of the phone and takes the bottom on the phone and gives the speaker a big boost of sound. I like that very much.

Ok..the BIG HOWEVER...is this case is so SO big. It literally DOUBLES the bulk of the phone and don't think about putting it in your shorts pocket...it is heavy and will drag them down. Trust me.

At this point, I'm calling this the ALMOST CASE...or my Weekend Warrior case. There is no way I will use this as a daily, always on case. It doesn't come out of the pocket easy, it required TWO HANDS now to keyboard and touch the screen.

NFC? Nope...too bulky. Wireless charging? Nope, but with the battery, you don't need it.

So, at this point, I'm going to see what comes next in the world of G6 Battery Cases. The ZeroLemon 8000mah battery just makes this too big. Maybe if they put a 4000-5000mah on instead, it would shrink it and make it easier to use in one hand.

So...who else has one? wants one? Has a question?

Jeremiah has one.
How did you score the coupon?
We spoke briefly about it privately with more to come since it's so new to both of us.
I have two, one for my wife and I and for our month long European vacation.. Pictures and videos are to be expected.. Having this beast will ease the pain quite a bit .

The NFC should still work through the case like every other case. Unless the battery is blocking the antenna. Its not like the V20 where Zerolemon eliminates the antenna.

Mike...I used the Force.

I PM'd them on XDA and they emailed me one.
You guys are lucky. I PM'd them on XDA and got a reply but never got a review case or a coupon to "test" their product out. Oh well, may have been my slightly negative review I left on Amazon for their iPhone 6 plus case hahaha

Anyways what's $59.99 anyways?

$59.99 is alot higher than $18....I would not pay the original $99 MSRP, that's for sure.
