Alright, final results for this monster.

Almost 62 hours up time, over 15 hours SOT.

Here's how I use my phone:
Lux for auto brightness
1 gmail account syncing
2 email accounts using exchange
Location is GPS only and always on
WiFi is always on even when not in use
Push notifications from many apps including AC, XDA, slickdeals, TheScore, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc
During this cycle I also took about 15 minutes of video, over 100 pictures and watched about 20 minutes of ESPN3 so I wouldn't miss an opening kick off yesterday.
Would I use this everyday? No. Too bulky to carry around comfortably.
Will I use it at all? Absolutely. Great for long days at the golf course when I want GPS on all day for yardages, playing music, etc. Also will come in handy for hiking when I'm taking lots of pictures.

Those are pretty ridiculous runtimes! Like you said, it sounds big for typical daily use, but there are certainly usage scenarios for it.
