I plan to get that beast, it makes the phone 2-3 times thicker and look like a brick but the runtime triples as you going from 3,000 mAh cell to 9,000 mAh.

Plus I already had good experience with ZeroLemon.

I went the other way; bought 2 spare batteries for a little less than a Zerolemon. Keep one in my wallet and one in the car and the phone size stays the same. I can use any case and my car and office dock still work. I can still carry the phone in my pocket or use my Seidio holster and it takes less than 10 seconds to switch batteries.

I don't like very slim phones. Hard to hold on to. I also have an OGP with ZeroLemon and it's much easier to hold versus stock battery that makes it the thickness of 3 credit cards.

I thought about that but keeping a battery in the wallet, doesn't that get really hot? Same with the one in the car. I was just thinking about long term damage to the batteries from heat/cold extremes. Heat/cold in the car may not be an issue depending on the weather and where you live though. Just that added thickness to my wallet would be horribly uncomfortable in my back pocket though.

Not until ZL makes a rugged case to go along with the massive battery. Already gone down this road with my G4. Great battery but the finished product (case) was junk.

I just have a spare battery with charger. Phone is big enough as it is. It's nice though that this is one of the few phones that actually let you have a big tumor battery making the phone three times as thick.

Its nice to have choices... whichever direction you chose with this phone, its yours to make not the carriers or the manufacturers forcing your hand.

I too went with extra OEM batteries and the LG charge cradle. I also upgraded my V10 with a wireless Qi charge case-back. So far I am satisfied. I have multiple ways to charge and manage power. I have an otterbox defender case which is a little bigger (I think) than the ZL setup. I was more concerned with the added weight when pocket carrying the V10-ZL.

I've been doing it for years...or since the batteries have become thin enough and have never had an issue.
Getting "too hot" is not really an issue in Seattle....the batteries never get hotter than they do while in the phone.
