Zoom feature on the Droid X Camcorder?

I'm currently trying out the Epic on Sprint, although I still have a Verizon account and today I discovered that you can also use the zoom feature while recording videos in addition to taking pictures. Can you do this on the Droid X as well? It's something I couldn't do on the Evo so I was pleasantly suprised. Just trying to compare the two in case I decide to stay on Verizon and possibly get a Droid X.

Also, if there isn't, is there any word whether or not it could possibly get that feature with the addition of Froyo?

As of now you can not zoom while shooting video. But I have to say it looks fine once you upload it. I was worried when the wife was taking some video and it looked so far away.

For if Froyo will change it I have no idea.

Just tested it on my leaked Froyo Droid X, nope! Feature is not there! Way to go Verizon/Motorola.

Not only are they dragging their feet with this update, but it lacks alot of Froyo listed features! Camera app doesn't even rotate the buttons like Froyo camera app is supposed. GG Moto/Verizon
