ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini notification icon

Hi i'm using nubia z5s mini and it's working great except i think there's some issue with the notification.
I previously use samsung phone and when i receive new notification it will appear both in the notification center and in the apps icon (small number on the upper left side).
As for the current nubia i use the notification only appear in the notification center but does not appear on the application icon..

Could anyone help me how to fix this problem? i really wish for the notification to appear on the apps icon.

Welcome to Android Central! The unread badge is a feature of TouchWiz, and is not on basic Android or most other manufacturer skins. You can try an app like Notifyer Unread Count, or you could install the alternative launcher Nova Launcher, and then install TeslaUnread.

i never know that it isn't a basic feature since my previous phone has it..
