Why cant i play some videos? Ive put digital copies onto my computer and when i try to stream them i get a "cannot play *&^%)(* cause its DRMed" error. I have a bionic. Works fine with pics and music but have problems with movies. Thanks

I may give this a go, but I'm not big on installing programs on my PC for stuff like this.

I think between Dropbox, and my Slingbox which has all 13 of my video sources available (integrated through Control4) I have all this functionality and more.

While I do like ZumoCast, I'm disappointed that it seems to prevent my pc from going back to sleep when I'm not using it. Yes, I did un-check the box in the preferences for "prevent PC from going to sleep". My issue seems to be with the zumocast app spinning up an instance of conhost.exe, which seems to keep running continuously, even though zumocast is reporting its status as idle.

If it would allow my PC to go back to sleep when I'm not connected to it (like over night) this would be a great app when coupled with WoL.

Im pleased that they fixed the OS X Lion issue and I can finally use Zumo.....although when i ran it, i was disappointed in video quality...came in pretty choppy. maybe it was my upload bandwith on my computer.

also...it would be nice if they allowed pre-load buffering that way you can download the movie and watch it while in an area without service (NYC Subway)

video plays flawlessly from my computers, to my Bionic, using zumocast. I have a fast gaming laptop hosting the files (win 7--I don't use apple computers). videos play as nicely as they do if they are being played from a file on my phone.

theoretically yes you can. you need to select the drive in the server software.. Once you share the drive in the software you should be good to go.. Sorry if I may have forgotten a step.. I cannot refer to my computer to verify and I just set it up yesterday..

Silly question I am sure but: Can you use Zumo to atcually move files from the computer to the phone? If not, is there an app that will let network wirelessly to accomplich the transfer?

I have it connected to the pc in my office. This thing rocks!!! I have a NAS and I have shares mapped on the computer that I installed zumocast. It is awesome that I can connect to all those mapped drives. 700meg divx movie works perfect after about 30 seconds of loading on 3g.

Is anyone else having problems with zumocast now working on 3g/4g? Its working great on my phone when Im on wifi, but always says offline when Im on the verizon network. Its never connected once when off wifi.

I was just wondering how much data zumocast used up? I am new to smartphones and think zumocast is pretty cool but don't want to burn all my data with it.

I have searched everywhere for a solution. Both my wife and I have Droids and are very interested in this app. I must have deleted it long ago when I couldnt get it to work. Now it won't find an internet connection on my machine although I am online.
I disabled the AVG and Firewall (windows) with no love.
Does anyone have another solution?
I am running it as administrator and would really like to get this working...
