ZVJ Update on HydroROM?

My phone is running HydroROM beta 2, and I've been reading on threads here that it runs well on ZVJ. Thing is my phone won't even download the update file.It fails every time. Any way around this?

Head over there to continue the game on the ZVJ baseband. Just follow sfhubs wonderfully instructions and tools and you will be on ZVJ in no time!

Ok this works great! But I noticed once I installed GB hydrokernel, battery seemed to drain REALLY FAST compared to gingerkernel. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just needing a new battery?
