Visual Voicemail issue

Is anyone having an issue with visual voicemail? When I push the play button to play a message, it won't play. The button is pushed down but the scroll bar never advances. I have to restart the phone in order to get it to play. Does anyone know if there's a wait time before being able to listen to messages?

i dunno. i removed my stock visual voicemail. and since i dont wanna pay verizon for a service i believe should be free, i use google voice for my visual voicemail.

How do you use Google Voice for visual voicemail on a Verizon phone line? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. I cancelled vvm today and downloaded the Google Voice app. Hopefully this will work a lot better.
