Deleted my favorites page

Two part question

1. I accidentally deleted the favorites screen on the home page of my incredible. Not just the contacts, but the whole page. How do I get this favorites page back?

2. I did part 1 trying to set up a logical way to be able to quickly call or text certain people. The way it was set up by default didn't seem logical to me. You had to load a separate icon to call and to text the same person. Just wondering if there's an easy way to just flip the screen to the left and have your favorite contacts right there.

Sorry if this is basic stuff. This is my first smart phone and it's my first week trying figure this puppy out.

Use speed dial screw the favs way faster than that's one less swipe.

you didn't delete it, you removed the widget

just press the plus sign, choose widget, and put the people widget on

it should come right back

Thanks! Got it. Yup set up speed dial already, but thought it'd easier just to swipe over and tap. We'll see. Still learning this whole android thing.

I just use speed dial and a mix of searching. Too much trouble when you get more than 9 people you call frequently.
