Yeah I meant rename the recovery file itself, not the backup file, on the CPU


The recovery file is what you're going to try to flash manually via adb.

If that doesn't work rerooting is the way to go, and might actually just be easier to do in the first place if you feel like it.

NP. liquid smooth 1.25 is not a nightly, it's a stable release.

Highly recommend either liquid, patient zero m1, or aokp (any recent build) for a starter rom - lots of features and fast.
