just wondering if anyone knows why i cant update my roaming...got the phone last night at 9p and still saying Call not Sent when i dial it?

I'm pretty sure you don't need to do that with 4G Verizon phones.

This is a function for CDMA only phones. LTE phones don't need this.

That is correct. Your sim card takes care of making sure your prl is up to date. If you remove your battery and pull your sim card and reinsert you will notice it will take longer to get service. Your phone is going out to update prl's. As a matter of fact on the Nexus if you try to dial *228 you will get a call not sent error.
