Please help me fix the settings for email and network in general

Something is wrong with my email. I have both an gmail and AOL account linked to my phone and the inbox doesn't seem to get updates even though I set my controls to always push. If I use the internet app, my mail is visible on the phone but I didn't upgrade to a new phone to have to manually check for email on the mail websites.

Additionally, there have been times when Facebook and the internet apps both tell me that I need to connect to WiFi or allow data. If I restart the phone, everything goes back to working for a while. I've had the phone about three weeks and this problem didn't start until a few days ago.

Did I change something in my settings? How do I fix it? Thank you everyone!

Open up email on phone select menu then more then settings and open send and receive then open up update schedule and check every 15 mins you can select time frame of when this updates and select a lesser interval after certain times such as when you are asleep and what days you wish it to update faster.
