deleting birthdays

I have the stock Samsung calendar app. There are birthdays on it of friends from Facebook or other places (where, I don't know)
It won't let me delete them. I just have a choice of "share via" or "copy"
I'd like to be able to delete these, it clutters up my calendar.

Is there no option to evaluate which calendars are syncing? Perhaps, open the calendar (not any event, just generic front page of the calendar) and hit menu.

Click on Calendars button and unselect them one by one until the stuff you don't want to show goes away. Turn sync off for that account in settings.

Open the Calendar app, click Menu > Calendar > Display > unselect which calendars (Facebook, etc) you don't want displayed > Done.

Got it. I didn't even think to look to see if there were options. There were, I figured out what was syncing and stopped it.
