locked out of my tablet......

I forgot my draw pattern on my a500 tablet and Google is telling my e mail and password is wrong.... tryed to do a hard resest and the the android guy pops up with gears and a load bar beneath him then goes to a android guy with a exclamation point... what do I do????

Try power + volume up when you see the Droid with exclamation mark. On the Nexus 7, that gets you to the recovery menu.
