play music is not playing any track

I recently updated my nexus5 to lollipop because of that play music app is not responding I tried turn off and on my phone twice yet it is not responding

That's interesting, I also am having zero luck with play music lately. I wonder what the issue is.

Did you try uninstalling the play music updates and reinstalling them? It just fixed the problem I was having. Good luck
