Recent new update problem

I installed the new update a few days ago and a lot of my apps bugged out to the point where I couldn't txt or make phone calls...reset the phone..installed a few new apps..same problem...phone was running perfectly fine before this update could it a buggy update? Ne1 else run into problems?

If you're referring to the 4.4.4 update, there have been a number of threads about problems afterwards. Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the system cache partition. Ok thanks..I have the 3g moto g pre paid.. I thought the only way I could degrade firmware was if you have a rooted phone ? Or is there another way...I deleted my cache...hoping that does the trick... really wish I never updated

Swiftkey doesn't work now with 4.4.4 same with messaging apps...can any1 think why this could b happening
