Copied files from PC getting deleted

Hello,

I have a Sony Z1 that I just updated to Lollipop. I am having trouble copying music files over to my SD card on it. I am able to use my computer's SD card reader to copy the music over without issue, but when I put the card back in my phone and turn it on, the new music is deleted. When I look at it again in my card reader, I can see that the new songs are gone. If I try to copy them back over though, I get a file discovery message and the music files reappear in the SD card without needing to be copied back over again.

Does Lollipop not allow you to manually add files to the SD card anymore?

Welcome to Android Central! Use SD Insight to make sure the card is what it says it is. If it's a counterfeit, it might actually have much less storage than it claims, which would lead to files not successfully saving.
