Nougat 7.1.2 on 6p?

Has anyone received 7.1.2 on their 6p yet at all​? I heard we're supposed to eventually get Google assistant, and the pulldown notification car with fingerprint scanner setting just like the pixel phone. I care more about the fingerprint scanner setting than anything else. Haha

I've just read that Google is claiming 7.1.2 is primarily a bug fix.
I can't see Assistant coming in a seemingly minor update.
I could be wrong, but I expect there'll be a 7.2 along by Easter.

Neither can I. Like I said, the only think that I would like to see realistically is the notification shade pulldown settings.

I've just read on XDA developers that the fingerprint swipe is included in the 7.1.2 beta for Nexus 5X. I'd like to think that means we're getting it too.

Google Allo will give you Google assistant now.

Yes, but no one else I know of uses Google allo. Nice suggest though.

Yeah, I do not know anyone who has Allo... BUT the assistant feature totally makes it worth downloading then I just never use the other features...

I don't think 7.1.2 is a minor update. Downloaded it on my 5X yesterday. It's a 1.2GB file (listed as 1200MB for some reason)

It's a X.X.Y release, which usually means a ton of back end fixes with a couple of new features.. like the swipe gesture to drop the shade.

It'll come soon enough. Might just be a matter of squashing a couple of final bugs
