When I had my Intercept it was a blank square on 2.1 and started to work on 2.2.

Same with my Fascinate. I don't think it works properly on devices running anything earlier than Froyo. When I Flashed Froyo on my phone, it suddenly started showing apps in the green square instead of just being blank.
