Had to create new account but would like to use other email...

I used to use this site a lot but I've been off the grid for quite some time. I've long since forgotten my Username and password so when I clicked on Forgot Username and entered my email it told me that there was no User with that email. So I figured with it being so long it's probably been discarded and I'll just create a new account. Now I get a message that says a User with this email already exists. I just used an old email I never use anymore and don't even know the password to. Is there anyway to get this account to the email I use or be able to use the older account so I can get notifications?
