Droid Razr M Cache

I have tried to clear out the cache on my Razr M but every time that I try to it reboots. I can make it to the boot screen and then I select the wipe cache option. The Android pops up with a bar underneath for a second and the phone reboots as if I am turning it back on. I am running Kitkat 4.4.2 Does anyone have an idea as to what and why this would be happing?

I've read a few other similar posts. Might be a glitch in the firmware.
