Default Htc one SD card music

I'm having trouble getting music players (tried winamp, shuttle +, rocket and android music player) to recognize/find music downloaded (from Google play and Amazon mp3) onto my sd card. I'm limited in the players I use because I need it to be compatible with the zombies run app (so I can import a running playlist). Didn't format the card before I put it to use in the phone, maybe that's the problem. Anyone have a similar problem it better yet, a solution?

Have you tried PowerAmp? It is a paid app, but free for the first week or two. That way, there is nothing lost if it doesn't work out.

Thanks, power amp picked up on them, but unfortunately Google play doesn't like to import tags. I guess I can give each unknown song a quick listen then throw it on the playlist.
