Sign in failed on Galaxy S3 cellphone

[AC Question]

I changed my password for my live.com account and on my phone when I enter the new pw....I get error msg..sign in failed. Please help so that I can receive emails on my Galaxy S3 cell phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about an Outlook.com account that is connected to your stock Email app? Or the Outlook.com app itself?

If you're using the stock Email app, try removing your Outlook.com account from your phone, and then adding it back again.
