New Moto g

[AC Question]

Hi! I just got the moto g. I have had a prompt in my notifications for a configure update but I'm not sure what it is for. It says there are profile updates for my phone:

Access Point:
Add: AioInternet

Please make a selection
Delete postpone install

Can any of you advise me as to what to do here?

Aio was an att prepaid subsidiary. It was absorbed into cricket when att bought cricket.

They are usually just configuration settings from the sim provider for internet and mms - called APN's.

If you have not accessed mobile data on the phone yet you will need those.

You can check in Networks / More Networks - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names. If there is a network setting there already you can touch that to look.
Installing another bunch of settings won't do any harm, you can switch between them.
Possible they are using the old APN name instead of Cricket but it will work the same. They may send you further updated APN and ask you to allow switching to those settings. So no harm at all.
