Question Moto G Not Detecting WiFi Signals

I apologize if this issue has been resolved elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find anyone describing the same issue. My Moto G randomly stops detecting all WiFi signals. Other devices are connected to the network I want to use and it happens on multiple networks in various locations, so it's not a network/router issue. I have checked to make sure I have the latest system updates. Sometimes clicking the reset internet icon or resetting Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth resolves the issue, but sometimes it does not.

Restarting my phone always seems to fix the problem. However, it is starting to happen with more frequency (2-3x per day), so restarting my phone every time is becoming a nuisance. I often find myself unknowingly using mobile data when I could be connected to WiFi (I do not currently have an unlimited plan). Does anyone have a permanent fix for this or some additional troubleshooting tips?

Thanks, I'm not sure what you mean by a network reset. I have used the icon at the top of the internet page to reset those settings, which does not usually work, but I'm not sure if that's what you're asking.

My employer has a VPN within their network, so I am sometimes on a VPN, but I do not have one on my phone.

No this is you go to settings>type reset network in top search bar
